God has made us for relationships. We were designed to live with Him and with one another in community. When Jesus saves his people, we are welcomed into his family, the Church. As his followers, we are meant to love, encourage, and support one another. Yet, so many of us are so lonely and so disconnected from genuine friendship and authentic relationships. The starting place for these kinds of friendships and relationships at Calvary are Community Groups.
Community Groups meet in homes across the south part of the metro area, most nights of the week. We have groups Monday-Thursday evenings and most of them meet from 6-8pm. They are mid-sized (15-30 people) and include people of all ages and stages of life. Each week as we gather, we share a meal together, and then spend time discussing God's Word, praying together, and serving together in various missional projects, which help us to love and bless our neighbors together. Every Community Group is open to new people visiting any time. Seriously...you can just show up and enjoy some great food and good discussion!
